This is a full-time, live out superintendent position.

Job Description
The Superintendent is responsible for contributing to the best customer service and experience by performing general maintenance and repairs for CCC527 building and common areas as assigned by the Building Manager.
Responsibilities
The general duties and responsibilities of the Superintendent include:
- On-call emergency response coverage during the day
- Daily checks of the building and addressing any deficiencies in the interior/exterior of the property
- Cleaning and maintaining of the common areas, which includes mopping, vacuuming, and shampooing carpets, cleaning glass or mirrors, water testing and chemical adjustments for the pool/hot tub, etc
- Complete scheduled maintenance inspections, report deficiencies to the Building Manager
- Perform interior and exterior common area minor repairs
- Maintain building inspection logs, monitor the on-site work of contractors hired and keep work order logs
- Management of the garbage, recycling and composting collection
- Perform administrative duties such as amenity reservation, programming of FOBs, updating intercom systems
- Perform all duties of the job in accordance with the legislation applicable to the jurisdiction, including: Health and Safety Standards, WHIMIS, AODA, PIPEDA and Human Rights.
- Other duties within the scope, spirit and purpose of the job and as requested by management.
Education
High School diploma is required. A trade certificate or license would be considered an asset
Skill Set
- Have good computer skills and be familiar with computers in the operation of a high-rise building
- Attention to detail
- Ability to safely use and maintain tools of the job
- Knowledge of HVAC, mechanical and fire safety systems – an asset
- Good communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills
- Shows initiative, reliability and demonstrates accountability
- Be physically fit and able to lift safely up to 45 kg and perform duties requiring bending, stooping, climbing, and standing for extended periods
