Role: SAP Quality Management (QM) Consultant
Contract Length: 3–4 months (with strong potential for extension based on evolving business needs)
Location: Primarily on-site (5 days/week) split between Scarborough & Pickering
Remote Work: Occasional WFH flexibility available
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced SAP Quality Management Consultant to lead the implementation and optimization of SAP QM processes. You will drive the project from discovery through to go-live, working closely with key business users to tailor SAP QM functionalities that align with business objectives. This is a hands-on role, ideal for a consultant comfortable with customization and collaboration in a dynamic, manufacturing-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead full-cycle SAP QM implementation starting from discovery workshops
- Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements for master data, quality notifications, and inspection plans
- Translate business needs into effective SAP QM configurations and customizations
- Support integration efforts and identify opportunities for leveraging additional SAP modules that add value
- Provide expertise to enable a smooth handover to internal teams with limited SAP resources
Required Qualifications
- Proven expertise in SAP Quality Management, especially in Quality Notifications and Inspection Plans modules
- Demonstrated end-to-end SAP QM implementation experience, ideally covering discovery, design, configuration, testing, and go-live phases
- Strong ability to customize SAP solutions tailored to small IT teams with limited internal SAP support
- Excellent communication skills with a consultative approach to working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Preferred Experience
- Background in manufacturing environments with exposure to quality management processes
- Experience supporting clients using multiple integrated SAP modules (e.g., MM, PP, WM)
- Prior consulting experience with mid-to-large enterprises, delivering SAP QM solutions
