We’re looking for an experienced Intermediate Accountant to join our growing team. If you’re confident in full-cycle accounting , skilled in month-end close, reconciliations, and project costing , and want to play a hands-on role in improving financial processes in a high-performance environment—this is your opportunity.
About the Role
This is not a junior role. You’ll be expected to take ownership of key accounting processes and act as a financial partner to both operations and leadership. You’ll manage complex reconciliations, lead AP/AR for multi-phase projects, contribute to financial reporting, and help track costs and profitability across business units. You’ll be joining a finance team that values accuracy, accountability, and continuous improvement.
What You’ll Do
- Lead full-cycle accounts payable and receivable including job costing and billing for complex construction/manufacturing projects.
- Own bank and credit card reconciliations , intercompany entries, and account reviews.
- Prepare and post journal entries , accruals, and adjustments during month-end and year-end close .
- Support the preparation of internal financial reports and working papers.
- Track and analyze project and manufacturing costs , supporting operational teams with real-time financial insight.
- Help maintain and improve internal controls and compliance with financial policies.
- Assist with audit preparation , documentation, and responses.
- Partner with operations to resolve discrepancies and support cross-functional collaboration.
What We’re Looking For
Education & Experience
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of full-cycle accounting experience —ideally in construction, manufacturing, or field service-based industries.
- Experience working with ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics (Business Central), SAP, or similar.
- Experience preparing for audits and supporting financial reporting processes.
Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and month-end close processes.
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, etc.).
- Proven experience with job costing, revenue tracking , or multi-project billing models.
Soft Skills
- You’re detail-oriented and thrive on getting things right the first time.
- You’re a problem-solver , not just a processor.
- You take initiative, ask the right questions, and follow through.
- You’re collaborative and adaptable, with the confidence to communicate directly with stakeholders.
