About the role
Our client, a leading national financial services firm, is seeking a Bilingual Financial Services & Operations Representative to join their team in Montreal. This is an initial 6-month contract, with the strong possibility of an extension.
In this role, you will administer financial transactions and support key client accounts while assisting with critical monitoring and reporting activities.
This exciting hybrid position offers the opportunity to gain extensive industry experience while contributing to a fast-paced and collaborative environment, supporting a diverse customer portfolio.
Responsibilities:
- Administer both financial and non-financial transactions across various account types, including mutual funds.
- Manage Registered and Non-Registered client accounts, ensuring all transactions are in order and adhere to professional and regulatory compliance.
- Monitor and report on client’s product activity, troubleshooting and resolving any discrepancies.
- Represent the company with professionalism, ensuring clear and precise communication.
- Perform additional related duties, as required.
Qualifications:
- A degree or diploma in Business, Finance, Economics, Commerce, or a related discipline. Recent graduates are encouraged to apply!
- Fluently bilingual in both official languages (English/French).
- 1-2+ years of experience in financial services, banking, wealth management, or a related field.
- A strong foundation in customer service, with additional experience supporting administrative and/or data entry initiatives strongly preferred.
- Positive and proactive with exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Analytical, flexible, and adaptable, with a strong eye for detail.
Assets:
- An existing understanding of various financial products, including mutual funds, registered and non-registered accounts, and securities.
