About the Role
RSRS is seeking a Bilingual Patient Services Representative to support our mission of ensuring safe and easy access to patient medical records following a physician’s retirement or practice closure.
This is a front-line, patient-facing role that requires empathy, professionalism, and excellent communication skills in both French and English. You’ll play a key role in guiding patients through the process of obtaining their medical records, helping them understand the benefits of doing so, and securing payment to initiate the request.
Key Responsibilities
- Answer and initiate calls to French-speaking patients across Canada regarding their medical record requests.
- Accurately collect and confirm patient information during calls.
- Clearly communicate the importance of obtaining medical records for safe continuity of care.
- Respond to patient questions and concerns in a clear, compassionate, and informative manner.
- Process credit card payments over the phone securely and in compliance with privacy protocols.
- Maintain accurate call logs and follow up as needed.
Qualifications
- Fluent in French and English (spoken and written)
- Previous customer service or call centre experience preferred - even better if it was in healthcare or sensitive-data environments.
- Strong French communication skills with an empathetic, patient-focused approach.
- Comfortable discussing payment details and handling confidential information.
- Excellent attention to detail and accurate data entry.
- Must be comfortable working remotely with a reliable internet connection and quiet workspace.
Contract Terms
- 3-month contract, with potential for permanent full-time or part-time placement based on performance and organizational needs.
- Paid training provided.
- Flexible scheduling available.
