Baci Ristorante, located in the C Hotel by Carmens, is a modern and upbeat Italian restaurant. Baci Ristorante has an open style kitchen and central wood burning oven which provides an intimate gathering place for guests and patrons. YOU WOULD HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:
-
Create a memorable guest experience including menu execution and food quality, overall experience, and ensure guest feedback is received
-
Supervise and coach all service team members by demonstrating superior customer service skills and living our purpose, vision, and values
-
Assist with developing and delivering regular training to service team members
-
Work with our Executive Chef on menu features and changes by curating and providing guest feedback
-
Suggest and implement new cocktail programs and wine pairings to compliment the menu
-
Ensure team engagement remains high by maintaining culture standards, providing regular feedback and utilizing a coaching mindset
-
Work with the Sales & Marketing and Baci team to drive sales including private parties and group bookings
-
Rectify any member or guest issues as needed
-
Completing ordering of bar inventory items
-
Develop strong relationships with guests and employees by maintaining a regular presence on the floor during key times
-
Act as a Duty Manager for C Hotel in absence of other departmental managers
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
-
Post-secondary education in a related field is preferred
-
Excellent leadership, communication and organizational skills
-
2-3 years supervisory experience in the hospitality / tourism industry is required
-
Previous restaurant experience required
-
POS knowledge is considered an asset
-
Ability to build rapport quickly with guests
-
Able to work on a variable schedule including days, evenings, and weekends
