Senior Manager, Global HR Communications - Total Rewards & DEI
About the role
The Role
Develops and implements communications plans and delivery for Global Human Resources (GHR) and key enterprise HR initiatives, including Allyship (DEI) and Total Rewards, while ensuring business strategies, plans and initiatives are supported in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures.
Is this role right for you? In this role, you will:
- Plans and manages an integrated internal and external communications plans for Allyship and Total Rewards initiatives that impact the Bank. This role includes the development and execution of internal and external communications plans, writing and editing of key communications pieces including CHRO communications, and providing strategic communications advice to business leaders.
- Ideates, produces and manages enterprise-wide communications pieces, including: announcements, press releases, online content, videos, message banks and presentations. This includes working with internal business partners to develop these communications as needed and coordinating and executing the delivery of communications to target audiences (internal and external).
- Leads, manages, and executes creative, robust internal and external communications plans for key enterprise Allyship initiatives, including managing and supporting key internal and external speaker stakeholders on the event and results.
- Understands how the Bank’s culture of inclusion, high performance and customer focus should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.
- Champions a high performing environment and implements a people strategy that attracts, retains, develops, and motivates their team by fostering an inclusive work environment; communicates vison/values/business strategy and managing succession and development planning for the team.

- The incumbent is required to keep current on communication trends and best practices and will be a self-starter who proactively identifies communications opportunities.
- The incumbent requires a combination of focus and flexibility and can work independently and take direction well.
- The incumbent must be diplomatic, flexible, with a positive, mature attitude, and the ability to remain calm under pressure and to deliver under tight timelines.
- Must also be proactive and creative, with strong, proven ability to plan and manage competing priorities, as well as ability to recognize and appropriately handle sensitive and confidential information.
- Minimum undergraduate university degree in English, Communications, Journalism, Business, Marketing, or a related field. A post-graduate certificate in Public Relations is an asset.
- Superior verbal and written English communication skills including demonstrable creativity, accuracy and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required.
- Proven ability to work both independently and within a team environment.
Working Conditions/Other:
- Highly mobile environment; non-standard hours are a common occurrence.
- Temp, full-time: 18 Month Contract position.
