Job Opportunity:
We are looking for a dynamic Human Resources Manager to lead our HR function at Innovative Automation on a temporary basis. This role will partner closely with the Management team to implement people strategies aligned with our business goals, enhance our culture, and promote operational efficiency across the organization. Note that this role supports HR functions across multiple companies, working closely with leaders to ensure consistency in policies, employee experience, and compliance.
What you’ll do:
HR Strategy & Leadership:
- Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and programs aligned with business objectives.
- Champion HR initiatives
- Drive data-informed decision-making and ensure HR compliance with all applicable laws.
Talent Acquisition & Development:
- Lead full-cycle recruitment and onboarding to attract top talent.
- Oversee performance management and employee development programs.
- Identify succession planning and career growth opportunities.
Employee Relations & Culture:
- Act as a trusted advisor to managers and staff on HR-related matters.
- Promote a positive, inclusive, and supportive work environment.
- Lead employee engagement programs, team-building activities, and surveys.
HR Systems & Compliance:
- Manage and maintain the HR Information System (HRIS).
- Ensure compliance with all employment legislation, including health & safety.
- Track and report HR metrics, including turnover, satisfaction, and diversity.
Health & Safety:
- Serve as a management representative on the Joint Health & Safety Committee (JHSC).
- Drive health and safety initiatives across IGC sites.
- Monitor safety metrics and identify opportunities for improvement.
Team Leadership:

Lead and develop the HR team to achieve departmental goals.

Foster a collaborative and continuous improvement culture.

Work cross-functionally with the Management Team to align HR initiatives.
What you’ll need:

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field
-
5–7 years of HR management experience, ideally in a manufacturing environment.
-
Knowledge of health and safety in a manufacturing environment is an asset.

HR certification (CHRP) is an asset.
-
Strong knowledge of employment legislation, HR best practices, and safety regulations.

Proven ability to lead change, coach teams, and manage HR systems.
-
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, SharePoint).

Familiarity with ISO9001, ISO27001 and ISO45001 standards is an asset.
