Position Details
We are seeking a Mechanical Designer with healthcare experience to join our team in Calgary . In this role, you will contribute to a wide range of mechanical design projects, from schematic design through to construction, within a collaborative and supportive team environment.
The ideal candidate is a proactive and creative thinker with a strong interest in advancing their career in the healthcare sector. Excellent communication, organizational, and technical writing skills are essential for success in this position.

Key Responsibilities
- Mechanical design including HVAC, plumbing, fire protection and building control systems.
- System design calculations and equipment selections.
- Preparation of contract drawings and documentation.
- Project coordination with team designers and external design professionals
- Comply with AME Quality management standards and processes.
Key Skills
- Experience with Revit, AutoCAD, IESve, HAP and Microsoft Office.
- Up-to-date knowledge of technical developments, building codes and standards.
- Clear and concise communication, both orally and written.
- Ability to work collaboratively and efficiently in a team.
Qualifications and Experience
- P.Eng. or Professional Technologist designation is preferred but not mandatory.
- Minimum 3 years of experience working in the industry with some healthcare experience.
