Job Purpose The Customer Care Representative is responsible for supporting customer inquiries via email and chat, ensuring timely and accurate responses. This role focuses on assisting customers with order placement, providing basic information, and resolving common issues while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
Duties And Responsibilities The associate’s primary functions and responsibilities are as follows:
- Responding to customer inquiries regarding products, services, and policies in a professional and courteous manner.
- Assisting customers with placing orders, processing refunds, and other order-related activities.
- Maintaining accurate records of customer interactions and ensuring data is correctly entered into the ERP system.
- Coordinating with internal departments to address customer inquiries about order status, product availability, and delivery timelines.
- Supporting inventory-related tasks by verifying orders and reporting issues to the appropriate teams.
- Promoting aged inventory under the guidance of senior team members.
- Following up with customers to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.
- Adhering to Service Level Agreement (SLA) deadlines to resolve issues promptly.
- Performing basic administrative tasks as assigned.
- Perform other assigned duties.
- Follow Health and Safety rules and regulations.
- Must follow Good Manufacturing Practices, Food Safety, and Food Defense guidelines.
- Comply with all Company policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Proficient in MS Word and MS Excel.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education is an asset.
- Previous customer service experience is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Working conditions
- Always work indoors.
- Compliant with ventilation, cleanliness, space, lighting and temperature.
Physical Requirements
- Sitting involved.
- May repeat the same movement.
- Typing involved.
