About the role
We are looking for a full time Administrative Support to join our Training Academy team. Reporting to the Director of Training and Safety, the Administrative Support will assist with daily administrative tasks within the Training Academy as well as assist on projects. Ideal candidates will be those who are motivated self starters, who can work with minimal supervision and takes initiative to learn new skills and tasks as opportunities arise.

Principle Responsibilities
- Performs administrative tasks including filing, data entry and answering telephone calls
- Provides quotes to customers for training services
- Follows up with customer inquiries post quoting
- Organizes paperwork and creates certificates for training participants
- Complets invoicing for all training programs
- Administers purchase orders for inventory and conducts regular inventory counts
- Provides support for Managers and employees to help maintain accurate training records
- Assists in the design and implementation of key training projects in support of business direction
- Coordinates instructor materials including shipping of packages and booking of rental equipment
- Provides adminsitartive support to trainers and managers for compiling and creating training materials
Required knowledge and training
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Post-secondary education in office administration considered an asset
- Minimum 1 year experience in an office environment
- Data-entry and working with databases experience preferred
- High level of proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Strong communication skills
- Strong ability to demonstrate confidentiality
- Able to prioritize workload while working with competing priorities, tight deadlines and multiple distractions
