We are seeking a thorough and experienced accounting professional to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring financial accuracy, and supporting strategic financial planning. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, financial controls, and business operations.

What You'll Do
- Maintain accurate financial records including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Track repair job costs, parts inventory, and labour expenses to ensure profitability and identify savings opportunities
- Prepare and file HST and other government remittances
- Monitor cash flow and assist with budgeting and forecasting
- Reconcile insurance payments and customer invoices
- Work with estimators and service advisors to ensure accurate billing and cost tracking
- Assist with year-end closing and liaise with external accountants or auditors
- Implement and maintain internal financial controls and procedures
- Treasury and cashflow management
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- CPA or equivalent certification is preferred
- Demonstrated ability (5+ years) in accounting and/or finance
- Knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Experience with Microsoft Business Dynamics
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is critical
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
