Elementary Classroom Teaching Position

Full-time (1.0 EFT) permanent teaching position to commence September 2025

We are seeking a caring, dynamic and collaborative educator to join our Junior School as an elementary homeroom teacher. The ideal candidate will have experience teaching early years children in a homeroom setting, preferably in grades 3-5, and will excel at creating a welcoming, supportive environment where all students feel valued and engaged in their learning. They should possess a deep understanding of current literacy, numeracy, and assessment practices. Additionally, the candidate should be well-versed in inquiry-based learning, fostering stimulating and enriching experiences for all students. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with colleagues to support the holistic development and academic success of our students. They should be a caring educator who fosters a sense of belonging and ensures all students feel valued, supported, and challenged, while embodying our School’s core values of respect, empathy, courage, and integrity.

The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic campus environment where highly motivated students and dedicated staff combine to create an innovative, enriching, and inclusive community culture. Our faculty contributes to both curricular and co-curricular programming, supporting academics and school-life opportunities for all students. The successful candidate must hold a valid Manitoba Teaching Certificate or be eligible to obtain one. Students graduating in Spring 2025 are encouraged to apply.
