Responsibilities

• Effectively communicate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences
• Collaborate with business analysts, program managers, project managers, and stakeholders to transform ideas into high-level technical plans with initial estimates
• Work closely with internal product teams and developers to create solution architectures and conduct technical design reviews
• Design single and multi-system architectures for both on-premise and Azure environments
• Contribute to the development of new methodologies to enhance work process and stay on top of emerging technologies
• Architect and execute integrations with third-party applications and enterprise systems
• Evaluate and procure third-party applications to meet business needs
• Resolve complex technical issues with simple and effective solutions
• Develop prototypes and proofs-of-concept to validate design assumptions and produce comprehensive technical documentation

Skills And Experience

• Minimum 7 years professional experience in software development including at least 3 years in a technical leadership role
• Ability to think big picture around solution design
• Ability to convey complex technical concepts clearly and effectively to various stakeholders
• Proven experience working closely with cross-functional teams
• Experience with cloud-native features of Azure and/or AWS
• Expertise in Domain-Driven architecture
• Proficiency in Azure Well Architected Frameworks, including reliability, performance, and security design principles
• Knowledge of cloud networking is considered an asset
• Understanding of current web services technologies and expertise in service-oriented architecture
• General knowledge of application security and information security
• Ability to build technical consensus with team members and management
