Material Handler at Bradner Cold Storage

We are searching for seasonal summer workers to join our team from June to approximately September at our Langley facility for a seasonal fruit project.

We are hiring for multiple shifts and positions!

Full-time Weekday Shifts available:

• 6 AM to 2:30 PM
• 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM

Some overtime may be required in order to accommodate the flow of product into our facility.

• Experienced with Mobile Equipment (reach truck, counterbalance, and ride on jack)

• Ability to meet this physical demands on the job
• Reliable

What you would be doing:

• Operating mobile equipment
• Handling driver paperwork
• Working with Quality Control
• Moving pallets of product through the facility
• Loading and unloading
• Receiving
• Picking
• Utilizing warehouse management software
• Working in a cooler facility (2°C - 4°C)
• Lifting up to 50 lbs
• Communicating with team members and truck drivers
• Following safety protocols and procedures

These tasks require special attention to detail as the successful applicants will be working with import/export paperwork of fresh produce. We pride ourselves on accurate receivings and outbound orders. The Material Handler role requires someone who can be flexible in duties in order to support their team and foster smooth daily operations.

This facility is on a bus route.

Pay: $21.00-$25.00 per hour
