Position Overview:

We are currently looking for a passionate and strategic Retail Marketing Manager to lead marketing activities that drive store performance and strengthen the Uniqlo brand across Canada. This role will lead a team and collaborate closely with cross functional teams and multiple departments (Store Operations, Merchandising, PR, E-Commerce, etc.) to create and execute customer-first, market-relevant campaigns.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and execute retail marketing strategies to support new store openings, sales campaigns, local initiatives, and brand activations
  • Own the marketing calendar for Canadian retail operations, ensuring alignment with global guidelines and local needs
  • Manage and develop a small team of marketing professionals, with a focus on structure, clarity, and results
  • Collaborate with store managers and regional leadership to adapt marketing activities to each community
  • Measure campaign effectiveness and provide data-driven insights for continuous improvement
  • Work with a significant number of external agencies and internal creative teams to deliver high-quality marketing assets
  • Manage marketing budget and ensure accurate planning, tracking, and reporting
  • Propose initiatives and take actions to detect, measure, and forecast customers behaviors and purchasing intents
  • Ability to efficiently combine sense of aesthetics, market research analytics, project planning, cost efficient budget management, and optimization of ROI to maximize impacts on sales
  • Ability to define sound communication campaigns, aligned with our global headquarters guidelines, that convey the unique identify of the brand to the Canadian market
  • Other duties and projects as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in retail or brand marketing, including at least 3 years of people management
  • Prior experience with new store openings, new products launch, and new market opening is a strong asset
  • Strong project leadership, communication, and analytical skills
  • Proven ability to manage multiple initiatives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
  • Experience in a store-driven or omni-channel retail business preferred
  • Bilingual (French/English) is an asset
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field

Conditions:

  • Permanent full time role, 40 hours per week
  • Monday to Friday, Office hours (9 am to 6 pm)
  • Office based in Toronto Downtown (near subway station)
  • Presence at the office 5 days a week is strongly preferred
  • Benefits, paid sick days
  • Start Date: As soon as possible
