Position Description

If you are an experienced administrative professional with knowledge in logistics, documentation, and billing of lading or international freight shipments, interested in joining a dynamic family-owned entrepreneurial organization where you can make a difference, then look no further! We are looking for an individual who shares our passion for this industry and who strives for excellence as our business continues to grow.

What will you do?

  • Assist and support the functions of the logistics team
  • Prepare shipping document
  • Data Entry
  • Arrange shipment pickups and deliveries as instructed
  • Monitor and track shipments’ arrival
  • Enter the receiving weights of shipments
  • Generate sales invoices and credit notes.
  • Process freight and vendor invoices
  • Follow month-end procedures and close month-ends in a timely fashion.
  • Create various reports/spreadsheets as assigned
  • Provide administrative support to the Materials Marketing team

· General and other office duties as may be assigned

What you will bring?

  • Self-Starter, quick learner, team player, conscientious

  • Must have strong attention to detail and accuracy in working with alpha-numeric systems

  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment

  • An aptitude for figures

  • Excellent customer service skills

  • Able to adapt to repaid changing environmental

  • A friendly personality combined with a “roll up your sleeves and get it done attitude”

  • Grade 12 or GED equivalency with post-secondary education is considered an asset

  • Minimum 1-2 years of previous experience working in a related office administrative or logistics role

  • Proficiency in using MS Office ( Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint); excellent keyboarding skill

  • Good command of written and verbal English
