Administrative Clerk/ Camp Attendant- Christina Lake
About the role
Civeo Premium Services Employees LP is currently looking to fill a temporary position for an Administrative Clerk/ Camp Attendant at our Christina Lake Lodge, located near Conklin, Alberta. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall hygienic conditions of the bedrooms, bathrooms, hallways, and laundry rooms. Duties will also include serving clients food and alcoholic / non-alcoholic beverages in the lounge. Reporting to the designated Supervisor, the successful candidate will work 20 days on and 10 day off rotation.
Please note this is a seasonal position (May-September)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide food and beverage service to customers in a courteous and timely manner.
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including setup and restocking.
- Perform general cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing within designated timeframes.
- Make beds and change linens according to the housekeeping schedule.
- Clean and maintain laundry facilities, including washers, dryers, and surrounding areas; remove lint after each dryer cycle.
- Sanitize washrooms thoroughly after each shift change, including showers, sinks, toilets, and floors.
- Review the Daily Room Allocation sheet and fulfill any special housekeeping requests.
- Report any damage, theft, or lost-and-found items to the supervisor.
- Follow all safety protocols and standard operating procedures.
- Remove debris and maintain cleanliness of the site and surrounding areas.
- Ensure recreation rooms and hallways are kept clean and tidy.
- Deep clean boot rooms and entryways, including boot trays, racks, splash guards, doors, windows, curtains, ceilings, and walls.
- Sanitize dining area floors regularly.
- Assist with reservations and sales transactions.
- Handle gas and propane safely and responsibly.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Ability to read, write, and verbally communicate clearly and concisely in English
- 1+ years of experience in a remote environment or previous experience as a Room Attendant, Houseman, or Camp Attendant is an asset
- Campground, Lodge, or Cabin work experience is a strong asset
- Must have a positive attitude and work well both as part as a team and independently
- Must be able to and enjoy working both indoors and outdoors in all weather
- Must be reliable and consistent
- Must be able to pass a pre-access drug and alcohol test
- Food Safety is an asset
- First Aid is an asset
- ProServe for handling liquor.
