Rate of Pay: $18.00 per hour

Role:
Working in our Employee Experience/Residence Department, you will enjoy being part of a team that creates an atmosphere that strives to exceed employee expectations by creating “picture perfect” employee experiences throughout our employee residence buildings. 80% of this role is spent cleaning. From the residence lobby right through to the residence room, the employee’s first impression around cleanliness is a powerful and lasting one.
Job duties:
- Create an atmosphere that strives to exceed employee expectations and create the ‘picture perfect’ experiences throughout all of residence.
- Responsible for cleaning all public residence areas and some staff rooms while surpassing quality standards.
- Identifying what needs to be done as you see them throughout your day.
- Identifying and communicating all maintenance deficiencies to your leaders.
- Responding to staff requests promptly and courteously while respecting the EE guest’s privacy and security
- Attending the residence store ‘The Bear Necessities’ which includes general cashier duties, inventory control and restocking inventory.
- Brain storming events/activities for staff and assisting during those events when needed.
- Creating content for Kananaskis News Instagram
Employment Experience and Educational Requirements:
- The ability to stand for extended periods of time, lift 10 lbs. repeatedly.
- Prior cash-handling, previous housekeeping or professional cleaning experience preferred.
- Must have a proven ability for guest service excellence.
- Maintaining the ability to perform repetitive tasks daily.
- Must have an intermediate knowledge of Outlook, Excel and Word
- Must be the kind of person who takes the initiative, possesses a high amount of energy and gets the job done 100% of the time.
- Affinity for helping those around them.
- Must be full of good humor and cheer, sponsors mountains
