About the role

As a Security Supervisor, you'll lead a dedicated team responsible for safeguarding our facility, ensuring the protection of clients, visitors, and assets. This is a great opportunity for those looking to advance their career in security and law enforcement.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2-year Security Supervisory experience preferably in government building, high profile sites, healthcare etc.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with individuals at all levels.
  • Valid Security Guard License and First Aid/CPR certificate
  • Police Foundations, Community Justice Services or Law Enforcement Diploma would be an asset.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.

Responsibilities:

  • Directly supervise a team of security officers, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure adherence to policies and procedures.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to enhance team performance and professionalism.
  • Monitor surveillance systems, alarm systems, and access control systems to detect and prevent security breaches.
  • Coordinate with law enforcement agencies and emergency responders as necessary to address security incidents effectively.
  • Conduct risk assessments to identify potential security vulnerabilities and develop strategies to mitigate risks.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as facilities management and clinical services, to address security concerns and implement proactive measures.
  • Develop and maintain emergency response plans, including evacuation procedures, for various scenarios such as fire, active shooter, or natural disasters.
  • Serve as a liaison between security personnel and other departments to facilitate effective communication and collaboration.

Pay Rate - $24.02
