About the role

Key Responsibilities

Under the direction of the Access to Information Supervisor, specializes in retrieving and presenting digital media from a variety of sources, creating both clips and stills as required.

(1) Utilizes a variety of digital imaging management software to retrieve images and clips, including enhancements for proper identification.
(2) Manages in-car video, in house security video and ensures appropriate cataloguing, retention and presentation of media for disclosure.
(3) Completes special projects as assigned by the Manager.
(4) Liaise with both internal staff and external parties on a regular basis regarding data requirements.
(5) Assists with document media management as required.
(6) Other related duties as required.

Competencies

(1) Grade 12 or Grade 12 equivalent is required.
(2) Minimum two years post-secondary education in a computer and/or graphics related field or an equivalent combination of education/experience.
(3) Experience in utilizing digital imaging and photo editing software.
(4) Knowledge of IEIS information system an asset. Must have the ability to understand business process in order to accurately provide information.
(5) The ability to use effective time management skills in order to manage workload and meet deadlines in an efficient and productive manner.
(6) The ability to listen, appraise, analyse, problem solve and advise.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $66,633.00-$79,944.00 per year
