Providing beautiful high quality living designs, meticulous installation and vigilant service care for these living designs is a passion for us. We are known for our passionate approach to living indoor spaces and our customer service. Clients see the care and attention we put into all of our work, and they trust us to keep their living indoor spaces flourishing and vibrant. As we come into a busy 2022, we are searching for a couple of people that can join our team as service technicians. You will learn how to service and maintain aquarium & plant life in various living indoor spaces.

As an important part of our front-line team that is the face of 19 Islands and helps us stay successful, you will be responsible for scheduled customer site visits to service and maintain indoor living installations by feeding fish, watering plants, basic aquarium and living plant wall maintenance and cleaning. Once you have mastered that aspect of our work you will be able to learn more about what creates a beautiful and vibrant living installation. You will always represent 19 Islands in a professional manner ensuring to leave the best impression. You will maintain, test, troubleshoot, and complete minor repairs to aquarium equipment, take various readings, report on every job, and ensure equipment is functioning optimally to sustain life.
YOU
- Ideally you have some training and or experience with fresh and/or salt-water aquariums, but it is not a must have.
- Are able to work effectively with both your brain, and your hands.
- Have a real interest in animal and plant life.
- Are an enthusiastic person, motivated to create and sustain beautiful indoor ecosystems.
- Are organized, able to prioritize and have strong detail-orientation
- Able to work effectively on your own, as well as to work with others.
- Communicate clearly and professionally in English
- Capable of lifting up to 50lbs periodically.
- Have a reliable vehicle and the ability to get yourself to and from client sites.
- Willing and able to work regular hours with some need for evening and weekend work.
- Are comfortable using your phone for clock in/out purposes as well as communicating with the team
