The Cam Clark Auto Group is seeking a Part Time - Human Resources Assistant for our British Columbia dealership operations that will be based in Kamloops, BC. This position is a 6-months temporary role, with the possibility of extension or transition into a permanent opportunity**.**

In the position of Part Time - Human Resources Assistant reporting to the Human Resources Business Partner will play a key role in supporting HR operations, project, recruitment, initiatives, and providing day-to-day assistance to employees and managers.
You will be accountable for:
Recruitment:
- Lead and support recruitment efforts by posting job advertisements, scheduling interviews, coordinating candidate communications with managers, and preparing offer letters, while tracking key recruitment KPIs such as time-to-fill, time-to-hire, and candidate response rates to ensure an efficient hiring process.
- Oversee the onboarding of new employees by preparing onboarding packages, completing required paperwork, sending out new hire announcements, and ensuring each new employee has a positive start to their automotive career with us, measured by onboarding completion rates and early retention benchmarks.
HRIS Admin Support:
- Maintain and manage safekeeping of employee records (i.e. organizing physical files, scanning and saving documents electronically, and entering or updating employment data and status changes in HR systems) and refrain from disclosing confidential information
- Assist with communicating the forms for benefits, RRSP, and pension plan administration and coordinate closely with the payroll administrator.
- Maintain and update the employee master list (i.e. driver’s licenses, abstracts, and other employee-related certifications/licenses)
- Conduct regular audit checks of BC employee file records to ensure compliance and data integrity
Others:
- Deliver quality service by adhering to organizational standards and HR best practices
- Collaborate closely with the HR team, providing support to team members and dealership managers as needed
- Contribute to the success of the HR department by accomplishing related tasks and projects
- Perform other duties assigned to support dealership HR needs.
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- Experience in Human Resources, particularly within a dealership or automotive environment considered an asset
- Ability to visit multiple locations within Kamloops and possible travel to Salmon Arm occasionally.
- Possess a valid Driver’s License, a clean driver’s abstract, and access to a reliable vehicle.
- Eager to thrive in a fast-paced, performance-driven culture, demonstrating initiative and a willingness to take on a variety of tasks
- Maintain a high level of professionalism, confidentiality, and sensitivity in all HR matters.
- Exhibit strong communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with individuals at all levels across the dealership group.
- Recent graduates with the right attitude and strong work ethic are encouraged to apply
