About the role

There is an exciting opportunity for a talented professional to join the Marketing Team in Vancouver as a Graphic Designer. This role will heavily focus on delivering elevated digital content reflective of our project brands and strategy in conjunction with our brand and creative teams. The ideal candidate has a design portfolio to share and is in (or recently graduated from) a full-time design program at an accredited institution. The individual is creative but organized.

About The Role The Graphic Designer will assist with the company’s corporate and project-specific creative efforts, from conception to technical execution. This role is open to both recent graduates with a strong portfolio and intermediate-level designers looking to grow their skills in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. The role seeks an imaginative individual with an elevated awareness of design principles. The Graphic Designer is expected to:

  • Support with executing creative concepts and content for our website experiences, email, social channels, and other digital applications
  • Support with executing creative concepts and content for our sales galleries and experiential areas, signage, print materials, and other physical applications
  • Support with bringing our creative strategy and designs to life across channels
  • Execute designs for various marketing collateral, including:
  • Digital Advertising
  • Website Content Development (in conjunction with our web developer)
  • Email design
  • Social Media content
  • Layout of copy, images, floorplans
  • Application/Framework design as needed
  • Signage
  • Print Materials
  • Create, and update as needed, various project development design and strategy decks, city council submission decks, and special projects
  • Maintain graphic standards and file management of final assets
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Participate in department brainstorming and idea generation sessions
  • Assist with and execute other design-related projects as required

About You

  • A degree in communication design, digital design, graphic design, or animation
  • A creative thinker who seeks to find solutions to problems and tell stories in their design
  • A strong understanding of, and natural eye for, visual aesthetics
  • Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, After Effects)
  • Strong proficiency in Figma
  • Time management and organizational skills to work on multiple projects at once and balance various deadlines
  • Flexibility to be able to switch between projects or pivot quickly should the requirements of the project change
  • Patience to send designs through multiple approval processes and often work with several stakeholders to complete a project
  • Self-motivated and detail-oriented
  • HTML5 knowledge and/or animation skills are an asset
  • Experience with digital or graphic design and social-first content capture are an asset
  • An interest in real estate is an asset
  • A solid understanding of the digital landscape and are familiar with critical communication platforms is an asset

Our competitive compensation package has been designed to reward our employees’ skills, competencies and performance that align with our culture. The compensation range for this role is $50,000 - $75,000 annually, depending on candidate experience and qualifications. Coupled with this base salary, we offer pay for performance bonus programs, excellent family health benefits, RSP matching, employee recognition programs and plenty of opportunity to socialize, have fun and build genuine relationships.
