Community Living Guelph Wellington (CLGW) is embarking on a data development and evidence-based decision-making journey to demonstrate value and improve its programs, services, and impact. The Decision Support Coordinator will play a pivotal role in developing data systems, analyzing key organizational metrics, and providing insight reports to inform strategic and operational decision-making. This full-time permanent position requires a proactive individual who can establish best practices in data collection, management, research and analysis while supporting a culture of person centred, data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Your Responsibilities:

Assist in the development and implementation of a data strategy aligned with the organization’s goals.

Work with others across the organization to establish and maintain data collection methods, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and integrity.

Work with internal teams to define key performance indicators (KPIs) including qualitative and quantitative impact indicators and build processes to track them.

Support the integration and management of data across multiple sources and platforms.
-
Conduct research projects to initiate future data platforms (i.e. annual survey) using standards research principles and approaches.

Analyze service and organizational specific data and reports to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
-
Develop dashboards, visualizations, and reports to communicate findings to stakeholders.
-
Support grant reporting, program evaluation, and impact measurement efforts.
-
Present data insights to leadership to guide strategic planning and operational improvements.

Work closely with leadership and service teams to gather and translate data insights into actionable recommendations.

Provide training and support to staff on data literacy, tools, and best practices.

Foster a culture of data-driven decision-making within the organization.

Collaborate with external partners, funders, and stakeholders to share data insights and best practices.
You Have:
-
Bachelor’s degree in data science, statistics, economics, social sciences, public policy, or a related field.

Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in data analysis, reporting, and visualization.

Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel or BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).

Experience in designing and managing data collection systems.
-
Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex data into meaningful insights for non-technical audiences.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
You Might Also Have (Preferred):
-
Experience working in the non-profit sector, social services, or related fields.

Familiarity with impact measurement frameworks and program evaluation methodologies.

Knowledge of database management and CRM systems (e.g., AlayaCare, UKG)
-
Understanding of data governance, privacy, and ethical considerations in data use.
