Status: Part Time
Reporting To: General Manager
Hours: Monday-Friday 5-11pm & 3-11pm with weekend availability
Location: GYMVMT Westmount- Edmonton, AB

Position Summary
The Front Desk Associate acts as first point of contact for members, guests, and employees. This role is responsible for creating a welcoming environment for the organization, members, and guests. The Front Desk Associate is responsible for greeting members and guests, addressing member account inquiries as well as answer questions regarding the variety of services offered.
Responsibilities
- Greet and acknowledge members upon arrivals and exits providing a hospitable welcome.
- Check-in all members into the club ensuring proper account status prior to entering the club.
- Handle any account issues upon check-in.
- Respond to requests and inquiries from guests and members.
- Respond to phone inquiries, transfers calls as necessary and maintains telephone inquiry records.
- Ensure all new guests are recorded into the digital guest register.
- Handles member service matters as they arise.
- Follows and records an established rotation system for guests and telephone inquiries.
- Touch up the locker room with every visit.
- Survey and keep the reception area in an orderly and clean appearance.
- Understand the specifics club rules, programs, layout, etc.
- Abide by organizational policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Organize and prioritize multiple tasks ensuring all deadlines are met.
- Operates computers, scanners, and photocopiers as well as interact machines.
- Other duties as required.
Qualifications & Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Prior related customer service or receptionist experience, an asset.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Experience with administrative and clerical procedures.
- Able to contribute positively as part of a team.
