About the role

Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the Marketing Coordinator is responsible for the execution of marketing campaigns by supporting various initiatives, such as content creation, brand partnerships, media and PR, and event marketing. They will lead B2C event management and community initiatives. They work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent branding, timely delivery, and smooth project management across all channels.

Job Duties:

  • Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses.
  • Manages community and brand partnerships
  • Plan, manage, and attend B2C events across Canada
  • Supports team through content creation for website, blogs, email, and social media when needed
  • Build and nurtures relationships with media and PR personnel, developing and sending press releases.
  • Recommends changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments.
  • Applies for awards on behalf of the company
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.
  • Coordinate objectives with the marketing team, creative and advertising departments
  • Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Able to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically and professionally at all times
  • Prioritizes sustainability and the environment when engaged in business relations
  • Other related duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • A University degree or college diploma in marketing, communications, digital media, a related field, or a suitable combination and experience is preferred but not required.
  • At least 3 years of marketing work experience
  • At least 1 year of social media related work experience.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills. Experience with blogging is a major asset.
  • Minor graphic design experience.
  • An eye for detail and aesthetic appeal.
  • Familiarity with online marketing strategies and marketing channels
  • Video creation experience is an asset.
  • Strong knowledge of Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, Twitter and LinkedIn and the best practices for each platform.
  • Hard-working, proactive and a team player
  • Highly motivated and able to work independently

Work Conditions:

  • Full-time, Monday to Friday in office availability

  • Sitting/walking throughout the day

  • Working on a computer for most of the day

  • Travel to the site and off-site locations will be required

  • Work both indoors and outdoors at tradeshows/demos

  • Successful candidates will have to pass a Criminal Record Search.
