As a certified B Corporation, we make convenient eating healthy and sustainable for the communities we operate in. We source quality local ingredients whenever possible, and deliver in reusable, recyclable and compostable packaging. We offer 10 chef-created meal kit recipes each week, with options for many lifestyles and preferences including vegetarian and vegan.

What You'll Be Doing
At Fresh Prep, every day may be different! While we are currently in “growth mode”, things are becoming more and more streamlined. This means that your first day may not look like your third or your tenth, but each day you will be doing some of the following:
- You will be working your shift in an area where the temperature is maintained between 6-8 degrees celsius.
- The main activity in this department is the processing of various ingredients and the assembly of various salads, ready to eat items, family size meal kits and simple side kits.
- You will be required to work as a team and put together the ingredients to the corresponding container per spec sheets for various salads, ready to eat items, family size meal kits and simple side kits based on a time standard.
- You will be required, based on a timed standard, to clean, cut, portion, measure, weigh and package a variety of vegetables, cheeses, sauces and other various ingredients, into their appropriate packaging.
- You will be required to breakdown fresh produce using food processing equipment or other provided tools.
- You will be required to work in a safe manner and to assist in maintaining a clean, healthy, food-safe production facility.
- You could be selecting items from our storage containers and combining all the different items ordered by our customers onto a sortation rack for combining into our shipping containers.
- You will also be learning to process our customers orders into our shipping containers by driver's routes.
- This department works on a just in time delivery system so it is very fast-paced in meeting specific volumes and delivery windows.
What We Are Looking For
- Previous experience in food manufacturing, warehouse, or high-paced environment preferred.
- Able to work in a high-paced warehouse environment with strict deadlines.
- Comfortable working in a temperature controlled environment. The warehouse is kept at between 0 to 10 degrees Celsius.
- Able to stand on your feet for 10 hour shifts.
- Ability to lift objects up to 30 lbs (13 kgs).
What You Can Expect
- $18.34/hour
- Availability: Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday (8:00 am - 4:00 pm)

Our customers can choose from 10 delicious meals per week, delivered to their door in sustainable packaging, for as low as $10.99 per serving.
All ingredients come pre-cut and pre-portioned, reducing many steps of the cooking process – making dinner time easier and quicker. Customers can also choose from a menu of Add-ons including quick ready-to-eat meals, salads, healthy snacks, juices and pantry staples.
We offer meal kit options for all diets and preferences - 50% of our weekly menu is vegetarian or vegan and customers can select gluten-aware and carb-conscious meals.
