Your contribution! Reporting to the Vice President - Information Technology (IT) and Operational Technology (OT), the Senior Advisor - IT-OT Processes and Compliance is responsible for planning, organizing and structuring documentation, IT-OT processes, evidence gathering and risk assessments to meet the regulatory requirements of the IT-OT department.

They work closely with IT-OT teams to implement processes aligned with an effective control environment. They organize continuous improvement activities based on trends and best practices, as well as continuous learning.

They are responsible for relations with the main stakeholders involved: internal and external auditors, IT-OT managers and IT-OT department teams.

Your day-to-day! Compliance documentation

  • Consolidate ITGC/SOX and NERC-CIP compliance requirements as well as requirements related to frameworks selected by the IT-OT department: NIST, ITSM/ITIL, C2M2...
  • Formalize standard operating policies and procedures (SOPs), coordinate their implementation and keep them up to date.
  • Ensure that policies and procedures are applied by all TI-OT teams.
  • Communicate and train TI-OT teams as needed.
  • Ensure that the IT-OT department collects the elements required to comply with current regulations and is always ready to perform an audit.
  • Maintain a documentation structure for all stakeholders.

IT-OT process improvement

  • Lead the transformation and ensure the continuous improvement of IT-OT processes to improve quality, optimize efficiency, mitigate risk and meet compliance requirements.
  • Consolidate user feedback and auditor comments to feed the continuous improvement process.
  • Manage changes in the tools that support IT-OT processes, from needs analysis through to deployment and support: Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, etc.
  • Structure the distribution of roles and responsibilities in process execution and evidence gathering.

Accountability

  • Plan and coordinate audit activities in the IT department in collaboration with internal and external auditors.
  • Follow-up on action plans and non-conformities.
  • Produce indicators and dashboards to monitor the department's compliance.

Your skills, our requirements!

  • 7 years of experience in a compliance-related and/or IT-OT process improvement position
  • Have a very good understanding of information technology
  • Excellent ability to collaborate and influence
  • Good understanding of regulatory audit processes
  • Good knowledge of risk management
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, presentation and report writing skills
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements (SOX/ITGC)
  • Assets if :
  • Experience in operational technologies
  • Relevant certification (ITIL, IT security, compliance, etc.)
  • Project management application and documentation Jira/Confluence
  • Experience of system administration in an OT environment
  • Knowledge of NERC-CIP compliance
  • Bilingualism (French and English, both spoken and written) required to ensure collaboration with various stakeholders outside Quebec on a recurring basis.

  • The position is based in the company’s Longueuil headquarters, steps away from the Longueuil-Université de Sherbrooke metro station.
  • This position is a P3 level.
