About the role
We are seeking an analytical and detail-oriented Business Analyst to assist with financial planning, performance analysis, and strategic decision support. This role combines financial management responsibilities with business analysis to provide key insights and drive data-informed business decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Analysis & Reporting:
- Assist budget holders in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and updated forecasts.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and improvement opportunities.
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes by gathering data and building models.
Business Analysis:
- Conduct research and analysis on business performance, KPIs, and market trends.
- Assist in developing dashboards, reports, and presentations for senior leadership.
- Support data-driven decision-making across departments.
Strategic Support:
- Provide decision support for new business opportunities, investments, and cost-saving initiatives.
- Assist in the preparation of strategic plans.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with financial modeling is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
Operations & Support:
- Collaborate with finance and operational teams to streamline processes.
- Help maintain internal financial and operational controls.
- Participate in cross-functional projects related to cost-saving, pricing, or revenue growth.
Working Conditions:
- Office-based role with frequent visits to operations.
- Standard weekday working hours.
- May require occasional overtime or flexibility during peak periods or events.
