Opportunity
MacEwan University is seeking Front Desk Associates for up to 2 casual opportunities with our Campus Services department. You will be responsible for providing customer service and clerical functions in Round House and Hospitality Services. You will also be performing opening and closing front desk duties under the direction of management.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing accurate and timely customer service by helping customers;
- Making bookings and assisting with set-up for meetings/events;
- Providing prompt and effective resolution of customer service complaints and inquiries;
- Processing invoice transactions; and
- Completing daily tasks to comply with daily operations.
SKILLS
You will have:
- The ability to use word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications at a basic level;
- The ability to use social media platforms to create materials for Hospitality events;
- Excellent organizational skills; and
- The ability to follow oral and written instructions.
QUALIFICATIONS
- A minimum of a high school diploma.
- A minimum of 1 year of related retail experience.
- A minimum of 2 weeks of general courses or training in databases and spreadsheet applications.
- Experience with marketing and Canva is strongly preferred.
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- The ability to work flexible and additional hours including evenings and weekends.
