Job Type: Contract-4 Months
Wage: Competitive, based on experience
Start Date: July 2025
Niiwin GP Inc is currently seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Excavator Operator to safely and efficiently load tailings into haul trucks. The ideal candidate will have experience working in mining or heavy construction environments, with a strong focus on safety and productivity. This position plays a key role in maintaining site efficiency, environmental compliance, and operational productivity.
-Operate an excavator to load tailings into articulated haul trucks
-Perform pre-operational checks and routine maintenance of equipment
-Work closely with truck drivers and supervisors to ensure safe and efficient loading
-Maintain consistent material flow and loading accuracy
-Adhere to site-specific safety policies, environmental regulations, and company procedures
-Communicate effectively with team members and report equipment issues
-Minimum 2 years of excavator operating experience (preferably in mining or tailings work)
-Valid driver’s license
-Ability to work in remote locations and varying weather conditions
-Knowledge of tailings materials and safe handling procedures is an asset
-Safety certifications such as CSTS, First Aid, and WHMIS are considered assets
-Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
