Summary

The Position

  • Performing day-to-day email marketing creation activities including email campaign setup, coding, testing, tagging, recipient data selection, scheduling, and deployment of one-time, recurring, triggered and dynamic email campaigns.
  • Optimize images and banner elements for email, ensuring efficient display, quality maintenance, and minimized file size. Collaborate with the Email Manager and Creative team as needed to ensure proper display and responsiveness.
  • Optimize the use of existing email templates within the Salesforce Marketing Cloud automation platform to improve efficiency and streamline campaign execution.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues related to image graphics, email coding (HTML/CSS/AMPScript), list segmentation, deliverability, and other aspects of email execution, as required
  • Track, report and analyze email performance data (using set metrics criteria such as total sends, unique opens, clickthrough, unsubscribes etc.), click activity reports and A/B test results, to aggregate insights into comprehensive reports. Using these findings to identify successful strategies and areas for improvement, enabling data-driven recommendations for future email optimizations.
  • Manage the successful execution of assigned initiatives through project planning, milestone tracking, and clear communication with all stakeholders. Demonstrate the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively while being a proactive self-starter.
  • Actively participate in team meetings, staying informed on current and upcoming tasks, and take ownership of understanding all aspects of the email strategy. Demonstrates accountability by asking questions when clarity is needed and critically evaluating how daily tasks contribute to the achievement of the email digital roadmap and overall team goals.

What success looks like?

  • Efficient Campaign Execution: Successfully set up, code, test, tag, and deploy email campaigns, on time, with minimal errors.
  • Maximize Template Efficiency: Streamline campaign creation using existing Salesforce Marketing Cloud templates to reduce redundancy and improve turnaround.
  • Proactive Issue Resolution: Quickly identify and resolve technical issues (image graphics, HTML/CSS, AMPScript, segmentation, deliverability) to minimize disruptions.
  • Data-Driven Insights: Track, analyze, and aggregate email performance data (A/B tests, click activity, open rates, unsubscribes) to provide actionable optimization recommendations.
  • Time Management Excellence: Execute initiatives on time, meet milestones, and communicate effectively with email team to keep projects on track.
  • Active Team Engagement: Participate in team meetings, stay informed on tasks, ask questions for clarity, and align daily work with broader email strategy.

As Our Ideal Candidate You Will Have

  • Proficiency with Salesforce Marketing Cloud’s Email Studio and Content Builder applications
  • Knowledge of HTML/CSS and preferably also AMPScript specifically for email development, as well as accessibility and legal frameworks AODA and CASL
  • Experience in managing email marketing campaigns end-to-end from planning and analysis of intake, setup, QA testing, deployment, and reporting
  • Experience analyzing campaign success using data from the email deployment platform
  • 2 - 5 years experience in Email Marketing, including experience in building emails from existing templates.
  • Some fluency with graphic design applications such as Adobe Photoshop preferred.
  • Great communication skills and an interest in building relationships and working alongside a wide variety of stakeholders
  • A flexible and adaptable work style; open to collaboration with diverse personalities within a hybrid work setting

The salary range for this position is anticipated to be between $50,000 and $63,000. We comprehensively evaluate a variety of factors to determine fair compensation, including experience, specific job-related skills, and relevant educational or professional training. Additionally, we ensure that compensation is equitable across our team and aligns with current market trends. This role also qualifies for an extensive benefits package and generous paid time off.
