Governed by a Board of Directors, the Students’ Association advocates for student issues and provides a variety of services and facilities to Algonquin College students.
Role Description
This is a part-time casual role for a Theater Technician - Lighting Programmer and Operator at the Algonquin Commons Theatre, located on campus at Algonquin College in Ottawa. The role involves handling technical production, lighting design, programming and operation, providing excellent customer service, and supporting the professional events at ACT. We have a wide range of events including concerts, wrestling, corporate events, dance competitions and recitals, and so much more.
Qualifications
- Technical Production and Lighting skills
- GrandMA3 or GrandMA2 experience is required
- Knowledge of performing arts industry
- Ability to troubleshoot lighting equipment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail
