Your Opportunity:
Henwood Treatment Centre is seeking a highly motivated individual who enjoys a busy, fast-paced environment to join our administrative support team. As the first point of contact at a busy 62 bed live-in substance use treatment centre, the successful candidate will inhabit a critical role in creating a welcoming and engaging environment for clients from all walks of life. The incumbent will need to be comfortable with multi-tasking throughout the evening in order to meet the various needs of the clients, staff and the general public. Duties include but are not limited to answering phone inquiries, record keeping, timekeeping, greeting and admitting new clients, directing existing clients within the centre, scanning, maintaining storage and file areas (putting away supplies) and preparing treatment materials for staff. The incumbent would also be responsible for supporting projects at Henwood as assigned. Note: Henwood is located in Northeast Edmonton and public transportation to the facility is limited. The incumbent would be required to work a day shift on stat holidays.

Required Qualifications:
Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent.
Additional Required Qualifications:
At least 3 years of admin support experience is required. Physical requirements of the position include the ability to sit/stand and walk through a large centre as well as use stairs, there is no elevator access. It is also a requirement that the incumbent be physically able to respond to behavioural/clinical emergencies that may occur anywhere in the building. Must be proficient in the use of computers and Microsoft Office. Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills are a must.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working with individuals who have mental health and substance use concerns is preferred. Expertise in the use of Connect Care and/or ESP, is a significant asset.
