Role: The Product Owner serves as the bridge between business stakeholders and development teams, ensuring that product solutions align with customer needs and business objectives. This role involves collaborating closely with Solution Architects, Development teams, and key stakeholders throughout the product development lifecycle.

Equisoft/centralize is a powerful back-office insurance agency management system that offers our clients a way to connect carriers' feeds, paramedical data, clients, policies, and more to a single platform. Our workbench solution helps our customers work smarter, provides unique insights, and makes it possible to automate their business processes.

Your Day with Equisoft:

• Work closely with Product Management to create and maintain a product backlog according to business value or ROI.
• Create the needed JIRA stories with detailed acceptance criteria for the sprint and partner with the Technical Architect and Delivery Lead to confirm logical task breakdown and other details.
• Monitor and analyze product performance metrics to inform future development priorities.
• Research and analyze the market, user personas, and roadmap for the product.
• Consolidate and synthesize existing documentation and requirements into a viable design.
• Gather input from various stakeholders and translate into business requirements and/or user stories.
• Act as owner of the development of detailed business, functional and non-functional requirements documentation.
• Lead refinement sessions with the Development Technical Lead and Product Manager to define next sprint priorities and scope
• Conduct product demonstrations for internal and external stakeholders
• Serve as the primary customer liaison for roadmap communications, scope discussions, and progress updates, while balancing competing priorities and maintaining clear communication across all organizational levels

Requirements:

Technical

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering or Information Technology or other University Degree
• Solid knowledge of the life insurance sector
• 3-5 years in a Product Owner or Analyst role
• Experience working with a B2B and/or configurable software product
• Excellent management skills
• Excellent knowledge of French and English (spoken and written)
