The ideal candidate will be able to effectively complete general receptionist duties, office administration, and assist with the processing and applying of payments to customer invoices in a timely manner for the administration of Accounts Receivable statements.

Responsibilities

• Reception duties such as answering incoming calls, managing mail, scanning, couriers, welcoming guests.
• Facilitate office supplies and printer ink orders for the head office.
• Apply payments to customer invoices
• Post customer payments through recording cash, cheques, and credit card transactions
• Assist, as needed, to balance cheque receipts to bank deposits
• Coordinating and planning items such as security services, and liaise with facility management vendors
• Managing contracts and price negotiations with office vendors, and service providers
• Addressing office emergencies, such as health and safety concerns or maintenance and facilities concerns
• Administrative support to Executives
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• 3+ years office management experience
• 2+ years receptionist experience
• 1 years’ experience working in an accounting department is preferred
• College or University education in Accounting Practices is preferred
• Working knowledge of MS Office Suite, strong proficiency in Excel
• Strong communication skills – verbal and written is required
• Problem solving, accuracy, attention to detail and analytical ability is required
• Strong ability to multitask
