We are seeking highly motivated Sales Associates to join our ADAMA Canada team. Guided by the values of the company the successful Sales Associates will play a key role in identifying opportunities and executing initiatives that align our rapidly growing portfolio with customer needs. The position will be embedded within the western sales regions focused on building business relationships with external and internal stakeholders to optimize opportunities with the current portfolio and launch products. Location: Western Canada

Fundamental Areas of Focus:

  • Partner with Regional Sales Managers and experienced Area Business Managers to achieve regional goals.
  • Support the sales and technical teams in the service of ADAMA agricultural products.
  • Align with the marketing team to support facilitation of marketing tactics within region.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with growers and retailers
  • Support the collection and evaluation of data for the purposes of generating market insights and identifying regional/territory opportunities within the portfolio.
  • Provide local sales territory support as assigned by Regional Sales Manager (vacation coverage, sales blitz, performance inquiries)
  • Manage your own schedule and work independently in pursuit of team goals

Talent and Knack:

  • University Degree or Diploma in agriculture.

  • Strong analytical experience

  • Superior attention to detail

  • Skillful with creating well-structured reports and providing valuable recommendations to drive business decisions

  • Experience with business intelligence tools

  • Flexibility/adaptability to take on different tasks as required

  • Excellent time management ability

  • Strong self-motivation

  • Demonstrable initiative – to suggest projects and contribute ideas

  • Ability to work with team members across functions and independently

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
