Responsibilities

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including workstations and equipment.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling practices.
- Assist in meal preparation for special events or large parties as needed.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and high-quality food presentation.
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, reporting any shortages to management.
- Participate in training new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols.
Skills
- Proven experience as a cook in a restaurant or similar food service environment.
- Strong knowledge of kitchen equipment, cooking techniques, and meal preparation methods.
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices for food handling.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively in a busy kitchen setting.
- A passion for the culinary arts and a desire to continually improve cooking skills.
