Reporting to the VP of Digital and Business Transformation, this role drives enterprise-wide strategic and digital initiatives, shaping the Bank’s future. The Director will advance the Bank’s digital agenda, align teams with strategic priorities, and lead transformational programs. This includes establishing and leading an Agile Digital Product Owner Center of Excellence (CoE) to standardize best practices, enhance capabilities, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Major Responsibilities Strategic Planning & Transformation

  • Support the VP in refining and executing the Bank’s strategic agenda.
  • Ensure all initiatives align with business goals and enterprise strategy.
  • Provide data-driven insights for decision-making.
  • Collaborate with teams on strategic initiatives and business case development.
  • Advocate for new technologies and productivity-enhancing practices.

Program Execution & Measurement

  • Assist transformation projects with analysis, strategic support, and documentation.
  • Build trusted relationships with teams to surface challenges and successes.
  • Transition defined strategies into strategic programs with the PMO.
  • Track initiative benefits and communicate progress.
  • Foster a high-performance, results-driven culture.

Digital-Product Ownership Excellence

  • Establish and lead the Agile Digital-Product Ownership CoE, driving best practices and governance.
  • Improve Digital-product ownership maturity aligned with Agile and strategic goals.
  • Strengthen collaboration among Digital-Product Owners.
  • Ensure Digital-product teams stay aligned with strategic goals and roadmaps.

Qualifications & Attibutes

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, technology, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • Extensive experience in strategy, operations, and digital transformation.
  • Strong planning, execution, leadership, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Proven ability to drive innovation, efficiency, and collaboration.
  • Exceptional communicator and relationship-builder.
  • Champion of change with a strategic, results-driven mindset.
  • Experience in Financial Services considered an asset
