Position Description:
This role is hybrid and requires you to be at our client office in downtown at a minimum 3 days per week - subject to change at any time.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
- Analyze, interpret, and transform complex data sets using Databricks, SQL, and Python.
- Develop and maintain source-to-target mappings for data integration and transformation processes.
- Collaborate with data engineers and business stakeholders to define data requirements and ensure data quality.
- Utilize Azure data services (e.g., Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse) to support data ingestion and transformation.
- Create and maintain documentation for data flows, mappings, and business rules.
- Support data modeling efforts and work with modeling tools to design scalable data structures.
Future-Focused Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the development of AI/ML-ready data pipelines and real-time analytics solutions.
- Implement data governance and metadata management practices using Azure Purview or similar tools.
- Support the transition to data mesh or domain-oriented data architecture.
- Drive the adoption of self-service analytics by enabling business users with curated datasets and semantic layers.
- Participate in the development of automated data quality checks and data observability frameworks.
- Stay current with advancements in cloud analytics, data modeling techniques, and Azure innovations.
