About the role
As a Daycare Attendant at Camp Canine, you're part of the pack! You'll spend your day interacting with dogs of all sizes, ensuring a safe, engaging, and fun environment.
Key Responsibilities: Daycare Attendant
- Supervise and engage with dogs in the playroom
- Lead structured activities like name games, sit & stay, agility, and toy play
- Monitor behavior and crate dogs when necessary (e.g., poop eaters, high energy)
- Handle feeding and walking of boarding dogs
- Update internal WhatsApp group with any dog-specific notes or incidents
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the playroom (sweeping, wiping down surfaces)
- Ensure a calm, relaxed atmosphere during nap times
- Assist with morning drop-offs and afternoon pick-ups
As a Dog Runner at Camp Canine, you're responsible for safely and efficiently moving dogs between grooming, daycare, and front of house—ensuring each pup gets where they need to be!
Key Responsibilities: Runner
- Escort dogs to and from daycare, grooming, and FOH
- Label and organize boarding dogs’ belongings and pens
- Communicate important instructions via WhatsApp group
- Assist with laundry, cleaning, and organizing boarding areas
- Wash bowls, tidy spaces, and maintain cleanliness standards
- Bring down toys, water bowls, and towels at end of day
- Clean tubs and ensure towels are folded and put away properly
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.20-$18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 20 per week
