We are looking for a DevOps Analyst to join our team in Toronto!

The DevOps Analyst / Systems Administrator will support the deployment, configuration, and support of Siemens Polarion ALM on AWS and IBM Doors, with a strong emphasis on automation, cloud infrastructure, and operational reliability. This role involves maintaining and optimizing CI/CD pipelines, managing hybrid Windows and Linux environments, and ensuring the performance, availability, and security of enterprise applications across both cloud and on-premises infrastructure. Applies technical expertise in AWS, container orchestration with EKS and Helm, and a collaborative mindset to support cross-functional teams and resolve complex infrastructure and application issues.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Support the deployment, configuration, and support of IBM Doors and Siemens Polarion on Amazon EKS using Helm
  • Maintain CI/CD pipelines for seamless and automated deployments
  • Maintain and troubleshoot both Windows and Linux servers in cloud and on-prem environments
  • Monitor application health, performance, and security using standard logging and monitoring tools (e.g., CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana)
  • Provide Level 2/3 support for Polarion and associated DevOps tooling
  • Troubleshoot infrastructure and application issues in cloud environments
  • Collaborate with developers, QA, and IT operations to ensure reliable delivery and uptime
  • Update documentation and runbooks for all deployed services and processes

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 5+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or Systems Administration roles
  • Proficiency in Windows and Linux server administration, including patching, user management, and performance tuning
  • Strong experience with AWS services, especially EKS, EC2, S3, IAM, and VPC
  • Experience deploying and supporting Polarion ALM or other complex enterprise applications
  • Practical experience with DOORS and knowledge of DOORS feature customization
  • Hands-on experience with container orchestration and Docker-based deployments
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions)
  • Solid scripting skills in Bash, Python, DXL (Doors), or similar
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Preferred AWS and Kubernetes certifications (e.g., AWS DevOps Engineer, CKA)
  • Advanced experience with EKS, Helm, and container orchestration
  • Experience and knowledge of Platform Engineering
  • Experience in a similar role within a fast-paced environment and collaborative team
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
