Packaging Designer Location: Hybrid, 3 days/week onsite in Mississauga (Tuesdays - Thursdays)

Duration: 3+ months, full-time capacity (37.5 hrs/week)

Starts: Ideally June 16th, 2025

Rate: $ 40-50/hr

Position Overview Our client is seeking a creative and talented Designer to join their team for a full-time contract, 3+ months in Mississauga. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in package design and a passion for creating visually appealing and innovative designs for consumer packaged goods. The Designer will work closely with the marketing and product development teams to bring concepts to life and enhance our brand identity.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop design concepts for packaging and promotional materials.
• Create and refine designs using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines.
• Manage multiple design projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining high-quality standards.
• Stay updated on design trends and industry standards to bring fresh ideas to the table.
• Prepare design files for production and ensure accuracy in print specifications.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years experience as a Packaging Designer with a strong portfolio showcasing package design projects.
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop is required.
• Experience in packaging design for food and beverage or consumer packaged goods is preferred.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate ideas effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and a passion for design excellence.
