About the role
We are seeking a team oriented, professional, and driven person to join our Sales team. Our company specializes in the servicing and monitoring of security systems in commercial, industrial, and high risk residential communities.
Fire Monitoring of Canada Inc. is a full-service ULC-listed monitoring company, specializing in the monitoring of premises required to have their fire alarm and sprinkler system monitored under their applicable Codes and Standards. Monitoring and servicing customers throughout Ontario, FMC also provides custom-designed and installed security solutions to include, but not limited to, CCTV, Access Control, Nurse Call, Intercom, and Integrated Systems.
Responsibilities:
- Generation of New Sales through cold calls, competitive calls and customer calls
- Site evaluation for the quotation and installation of fire alarm monitoring and various security-type hardware and software components
- Prepare detailed proposals and presentations tailored to client needs and project scope
- Manage multiple ongoing projects from initial site walk-through and quoting through to installation completion and post-install follow-up
- Maintenance of Customer Base and handling of Customer service issues
- Maintain accurate documentation and tracking of sales activities, project milestones, and customer interactions using CRM tools
Position Requirements:
- Minimum: High School diploma, post secondary diploma preferred
- Minimum: 3 years experience in the fire alarm and security industry, in either a technical or sales capacity
- Must possess the following;
- Be highly organized, motivated and focused
- Be capable of working independently
- Be able to work well in a team
- Be able to communicate fluently in English (written and oral)
- Must have a valid drivers license and a clean driving record
- Must undergo a security check
Definite Assets:
- Previous telco experience
- Previous Experience in the Security industry
- Previous Experience in the Fire Industry and familiarity with Codes and Standards
- CSP Designation
Training will be provided.
