Are you currently enrolled in a College or University program, in your 3rd year or above, studying Finance, Accounting, or a related field?

Are you available for a full-time, 8-month co-op or internship from September 2025 to April 2026?

Are you comfortable working in a hybrid environment, with the ability to commute to our Mississauga office (940 Matheson Blvd. E.) at least three days a week?

Are you confident using Microsoft Excel at an advanced level (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis)?

Do you have prior experience working in a professional office environment?

Are you eager to gain hands-on experience in Accounting, Trade, and FP&A tasks?

ROLE: Finance and Accounting Student (8-months – Mississauga, ON)

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Finance and Accounting Student to join our team, reporting to the Manager, Shared Services. The individual will be a member of the Finance team, responsible for assisting in the day-to-day Accounting, Trade, and FP&A tasks. Role: Finance and Accounting Student (8-months – Mississauga, ON)

Reports to: Manager, Shared Services

Work Mode: Hybrid (onsite 3-days a week)

Address: 940 Matheson Blvd. E. Mississauga, ON L4W 2R8

Pay: $21.00-$23.00 per hour

Shift/Time: Mon-Fri, (8:30am-5:00pm)

Term: Temporary-Full Time, 8-months (Sept 2025 – Apr 2026)

Education: 3rd year or above College or University

JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Accounting & Shared Services Support

  • Assist with accounts receivable (AR) and accounts payable (AP) processes, including invoice entry, payment reconciliation, and reporting.
  • Generate and distribute AR statements to customers.
  • Communicate with internal teams and external customers regarding payment status and outstanding items.
  • Perform administrative tasks such as verifying receipts and matching purchase orders to invoices.
  • Other administrative tasks as required.

Trade & Pricing Support

  • Support deduction processing and data uploads into internal systems.
  • Consolidate backup documentation from customer portals.
  • Monitor and follow up on pricing discrepancies using EDI reports.
  • Assist in calculating customer rebates and promotional activities.
  • Other tasks as required.

Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Support

  • Contribute to weekly and monthly sales and volume reporting.
  • Maintain and analyze trade spend data and deductions.
  • Track commodity pricing (e.g., egg prices) for reporting purposes.
  • Other tasks as required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3rd year or above College or University studying Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Advanced level of Microsoft Excel required.
  • Intermediate level of MS Office Suite (Word, Outlook, etc.)
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Must be able to work well under pressure and meet deadlines in an accurate manner.
