About the role
This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, comfortable with numbers, and enjoys keeping systems running efficiently behind the scenes. You’ll play a key part in supporting financial operations, maintaining accurate records, and helping the leadership team with reporting, tracking, and administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
Bookkeeping & Financial Support:
· Handle daily bookkeeping, bank reconciliations, and transaction coding in accounting software
· Process accounts payable and accounts receivable.
· Assist with payroll prep and related records
· Prepare reports and documentation to support the Fractional CFO’s financial analysis and planning.
Compensation & Benefits:
· $20 - $24 per hour, based on qualifications and experience
· Two weeks paid vacation
· $1,500 MyHSA benefits after 3 months
· Opportunities for learning and growth within the business
· Monday–Friday, 30-40 hours per week, some flexibility in daily start/end times is available.
· Track job costs and assist in ensuring financial data is up-to-date and accurate.
Administrative & Operational Tasks:
· Maintain and update our inventory management database regularly.
· Support general office administration—filing, data entry, document management, vendor communication, etc.
· Assist with coordinating internal reports, schedules, and ad hoc projects.
· Help streamline internal processes and keep documentation organized.
Cross-Departmental Coordination:
· Communicate with vendors, suppliers, and internal team members as needed.
· Support scheduling, ordering, and general administrative coordination.
Qualifications:
· 2+ years of experience in bookkeeping, office administration, or a similar support role.
· Experience using accounting software (QuickBooks or similar) and inventory tracking tools.
· Strong Excel and data entry skills.
· Highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities independently.
· Detail-oriented, reliable, and resourceful.
· Experience in a construction, manufacturing, or trade-based business is an asset.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $20.00-$24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
