About the role

Temporary position for 4 months.

Are you passionate about talent development, innovation, and driving continuous improvement in disability management practices? Join our dynamic team of coaches and make a meaningful impact! We are currently seeking a Coaching Advisor, Disability who brings deep expertise in disability case management, including the medical, contractual, and administrative aspects related to salary insurance benefits. As a Coaching Advisor, you will play a key role in supporting the development of the disability claims specialists. You will contribute to the creation and implementation of a coaching plan that promotes optimal disability management and enhances the client experience.

You will act as a consultant to internal partners, participating in the evolution of our practices and contributing to the improvement of team performance and expertise. More specifically, you will be required to:

  • Develop personalized coaching plans aimed at improving practices and achieving organizational goals.
  • Support disability claims specialists in their development and in adopting a client-focused, fair, rigorous, and compassionate approach.
  • Contribute to the development, implementation, and evolution of policies, standards, and practices.
  • Participate in the implementation of strategic project initiatives and support claims specialists in their execution.
  • Identify issues, perform diagnostics, and recommend concrete actions.
  • Propose action plans to resolve problematic situations, in line with organizational guidelines.

What you bring to the table

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • A minimum of five years of relevant experience in disability management
  • Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
  • Experience coaching and mentoring professionals, with the ability to tailor development plans to individual needs
  • Experience designing and delivering training, workshops, or learning sessions to support skill development and performance improvement
  • Advanced proficiency in English due to the nature of the duties or work tools or because the position involves interactions with English speaking partners, members and/or clients
  • Advanced knowledge of disability management administrative services (DMAS), short term and long-term disability claims and related processes
  • Advanced knowledge of disability case management practices
