T This is a contract position that is between 5-10 hours per week only. Must be available for daytime and some evening events.

• Must be located in the Victoria, BC area (please do not submit application if you are not located in Victoria, BC)
• Must have a valid driver's licence and car.

You will represent the Orbus Brand and provide membership support. Your role will also include membership sales, marketing (social media) and event coordination/execution.

Specific duties include:

• Grow member and guest attendance at regular meetings and special events

• Grow online Orbus communities and specialty networks

• Maintain the website, postings, emails, seo, marketing on social media

· Email marketing and develop your skill set to other areas of the social media marketing ·

• Responsible for promoting the company brand online to get more prospective members and guests to attend our events.

• Assist or be an event planner with coordination of , planning and execution of both regular meetings of members and special events

• Grow and sell memberships

• Business administration tasks, such as document management, data entry, and invoicing

• other related duties as may be assigned

You:

A self-starter. You love meeting people and are good at selling. You enjoy event planning and thinking creatively to solve problems. You are confident in your decision-making skills and thrive in undefined work environments.

Experience with social media marketing, SEO is essential.

Experience with event planning and/or project management is preferred.

Experience with website design required to assist with website content and updating

Experience in digital/online community building

Required Qualifications:

· High school graduation, supplemented by courses in marketing, social media and general office practices.

· Bachelor's Degree (preferred)

· Strong verbal, written, interpersonal and relationship building skills

· Ability and experience in networking and cultivating relationships.

· Outgoing and unafraid of meeting and engaging with people

· Communications experience with direct marketing systems MailChimp

· Proficiency in basic website maintenance and design

· Excellent customer service skills

· Experience with both virtual and face to face delivery of meetings and event planning

· Previous experience in organizing events

· Social media proficiency

· Enjoyment of graphic design

· Sales experience
