About the role

Join Our Finance Team as an Accounting Clerk

Langley, BC | Full-Time | Hybrid Option Available

We’re currently looking for a detail-driven, solutions-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our Finance team. Reporting to the Assistant Controller, you’ll play a key role in both Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable, while supporting critical month-end processes and reconciliations.

This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys variety, and brings a high level of accuracy and accountability to everything they do.

What You’ll Be Doing

Accounts Receivable

  • Set up and maintain customer and property profiles in our accounting systems

  • Reconcile customer accounts and address discrepancies

  • Respond to internal and external A/R inquiries

  • Generate and review aging reports and forecast collections

Accounts Payable

  • Set up and maintain vendor information

  • Track subcontractor WCB and insurance documentation

  • Respond to A/P inquiries and reconcile vendor statements

  • Reconcile corporate credit card statements

Billing

  • Coordinate invoice approvals with business unit managers

  • Prepare and send timely invoices across multiple service lines

Additional Responsibilities

  • Provide backup support for Junior Accountant and A/P Representative as needed
  • Assist with ad hoc projects and month-end close tasks assigned by the Assistant Controller

What You Bring to the Table

Education & Experience

  • Post-secondary education in Accounting or a related field

  • 2+ years of accounting or finance administration experience

  • Experience in construction or service-based industries is a strong asset

  • Exposure to AR and collections is a plus

Skills & Strengths

  • Strong analytical mindset with solid Excel skills

  • Comfortable working with accounting software (experience with Spectrum, Aspire, or Yeti is a bonus)

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills

  • Highly organized and capable of managing multiple priorities

  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and meeting deadlines

  • Reliable and consistent work schedule, with flexibility for a hybrid arrangement
